Description
Charuck running through the desert. Its sunny out, giving him the energy he needs to run like this. What is running to/from is beyond my knowledge.
Wings spread out as stabilizers, he tops out at 25 miles per hour (48 kilometers per hour). Not to fast but then again he is fairly small and he can fly much faster.
I was studying running animals in slow motion and decided to try a freeze frame of that with one of my models.

I think you nailed his pose. Looks natural running position to me. He also looks very happy running there! For me it would look more reasonable if wings were folded while running; now they give extra air resistance, but maybe I just have to accept your explanation about stabilizers.
